Job Description

A well-established law firm with a long history of providing high-quality, results-driven legal services is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of recent business or construction litigation experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and draft detailed research memoranda.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status updates, and legal guidance.
  • Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery documents.
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in fact-finding and case investigation.
  • Appear at hearings, conferences, mediations, and other litigation events.
  • Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Assist with trial preparation and serve as supporting counsel during trial.
  • Manage case responsibilities, deadlines, and administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules, statutes, and case law.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada; additional state admissions are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of law firm experience, preferably with a focus on business or commercial litigation.
  • Experience with eDiscovery tools and litigation support platforms is preferred.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort working with clients and colleagues across diverse backgrounds.
